Pingmei Shenma Group broke the international monopoly of para aramid
according to the Department of science and technology of Henan Province, as of May 8, the pilot plant of China Pingmei Shenma Group Saier project has been in continuous production for 91 days. This marks the completion of seven years of research and development work. Relying on independent innovation, China Pingmei Shenma Group has mastered the key technology of para aramid, breaking the international monopoly
it is understood that the project was launched in November, 2005. Relying on its integrated and innovative advantages in the field of chemical fiber, Shenma Group began to research and develop the polymerization spinning and industrialization technology of para aramid fiber, and built a production line with an annual output of 500 tons of para aramid fiber. In August, 2007, the group opened up the production process and produced products with performance indicators close to the international advanced level. In 2008, the project was identified as the "863" program by the Ministry of science and technology
after seven years of research and development, the group has invested more than 100 million yuan in research and development, breaking through the three key technologies of para aramid production - solvent recovery, low-temperature solution continuous polycondensation and dry wet spinning technology, and has obtained four national invention patents. At present, the 1000 ton/year pilot plant of the project has stabilized, and the price of Yangzhou Huahang special steel scrap has been increased by 10 yuan/ton; Scrap steel of Jiangsu Hongtai steel plant increased by 10 yuan/ton; Hunan Lianyuan Steel Enterprise scrap purchase increased by 50 yuan/ton; Xiangtan Steel Enterprise's scrap purchase price rose by 50 yuan/ton. Plastic doors and windows were rarely transported for more than three months. The solvent recovery capacity basically met the normal production needs of polymerization, with a recovery rate of more than 96%. The spinning process was basically controllable. The ratio of resin to fiber (fiber forming rate) reached more than 99%, and the barrel forming rate reached 81.4%, realizing mass production
para aramid fiber, also known as aramid 1414 (PPTA), has not only specific strength and specific modulus several times higher than steel wire, but also good thermal stability, flame retardancy, electrical insulation, corrosion resistance and radiation resistance. It has become the world's largest output and most widely used high-performance fiber, and is one of the important national defense strategic materials. For a long time, the engineering technology of para aramid fiber has been monopolized by American DuPont company and Japanese Teijin company, and the export of products has been strictly controlled by the governments of the United States and Japan, especially "Kennedy said that he implemented a technical blockade and product sales restrictions on China
